He saw the obvious pain in Ollie’s eyes and decided that it was best to back off that subject for now. She hurt him, she hurt him real bad and while part of Jackson was happy, saying he deserved it, another part reared its ugly head, wanting nothing more than to pluck that canary for what she did to Oliver. Jackson nodded and asked a different question. “How long did it take you to find me? I know you didn’t do it all on your own, must have had some help from Batman.”

Ollie shrugged. “Of course I did..he knows how to find anyone. He was the very first to pick up your trail..so that’s why I came here. Of course I kinda had a feeling you’d be here. Gotham has always been like a second home to you so..”  

“First home.” Jackson corrected. “Star City is my second home….” It was no surprise that Ollie had help, there was no way he could possibly track him from Star City down to Gotham without some kind of lead or help. Jackson swallowed thickly, his final question on the tip of his tongue. “Did you… ever love me? At all?”
